Many are hoping that Ram will consider introducing the Rampage, or a similar vehicle, to the North American market. The Rampage is generating a lot of excitement in the South American market and is anticipated to impact the region significantly. Judging by the Scorpion all-terrain tires, it is likely that this model here is the Rebel model. The Rampage is expected to launch with four trims, including the entry-level Big Horn, Laramie, Rebel, and Rebel Night Edition. This puts the Rampage in the same league as the Maverick’s turbocharged 2.0-liter EcoBoost inline-four-cylinder engine, which delivers 250 horsepower and 277 lb.-ft. The GME-T4 engine is already being used in the Brazilian market in the Jeep® Wrangler (JL), which currently produces 270 horsepower and 295 lb.-ft. Furthermore, as E100 fuel is commonly used in Brazil, this engine variant is expected to be compatible with ethanol fuel. Upon examining the prototype, the vehicle is equipped with dual exhausts, indicating that the turbocharged 2.0-liter GME-T4 inline-four-cylinder engine likely powers it. However, while the Rampage is expected to be slightly shorter than the Maverick by 2 inches, it will be marginally wider by 0.2 inches and sit higher by 2.1 inches. The new compact unibody pickup is set to be comparable in size to the immensely popular Ford Maverick. ![]() Ram Brazil has recently unveiled teaser images of its upcoming Rampage pickup truck, showcasing a design inspired by the Ram 1500. ![]()
